Andrew Edgerton

Mr. Edgerton’s has over ten years of diverse sales experience in the technology sales arena. His background and qualifications range from account management and business development of major Federal agencies, to supporting the initiatives of major Systems Integrators. Mr. Edgerton’s sales career has encompassed IT outsourcing, telecommunications and networking equipment. He has contributed significantly to the sales organizations of UUNET, Inc., Netopia, Inc., MCI, Inc., and most recently, Verizon Business, Inc. Through these organizations, Mr. Edgerton and has delivered millions of dollars in recurring revenue, most of which is still billing today.

Before joining the Heiden Group in late 2006, Mr. Edgerton was the Senior Account Manager responsible for the Department of Homeland Security account at Verizon Business (formerly MCI). While acting as the DHS Account Manager, he was responsible for growing the business to over $19M in recurring revenue in one year. He assisted in landing one of the most lucrative managed service deals in the history of the company. Edgerton also supported various DHS agencies with communications response solutions and disaster recovery efforts during Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Mr. Edgerton also served as a Business Development Manager for the MCI Federal Strategic Services team. By teaming with partners and forming alliances, he was able to create a niche product set that focused on disaster recovery and business continuity. It was here that he successfully introduced three new product sets specific to the MCI Federal segment to supplement existing communications services which equated to $10M in additional revenue that year.

Before moving into the Federal division at MCI, Mr. Edgerton was an Account Manager on a team that was responsible for $90M in annual IBM Global Outsourcing revenues. It was here that he gained his true understanding of the value of Systems Integrators. Here he specialized in providing complex data, voice and IP solutions for IBM’s valued customers.

Mr. Edgerton is also a FAA Commercial Helicopter Pilot and Flight Instructor. He holds a BBA in History from Gettysburg College.
