Lynn Refer

Lynn Refer, founder and Chief Executive Officer, brings more than 18 years of experience in telecommunications and management to Looking Glass. Prior to co-founding Looking Glass, Mr. Refer served as Senior Vice President of Network Planning and Engineering at WorldCom. His responsibilities included the planning and engineering of North American local and long distance transmission systems, voice switched services, data services and technical facilities. Additionally, he supervised network provisioning for WorldCom's long-distance and local networks. He managed over 1800 employees and a capital budget in excess of $3.75 billion.

Prior to the WorldCom-MFS merger, he was Senior Vice President of Development for MFS Communications Company, where he handled network development, construction and real estate.

Mr. Refer earned his Masters degree of Management from Northwestern University and his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University College of Engineering. In addition to his responsibilities as CEO of Looking Glass, Mr. Refer serves on CompTel's board of directors and is a member of the CEO council.
