Tony Shea

Mr. Shea was named Associate Recruiter in the fall of 2005. He has over 7 years of customer facing sales experience in a diverse range of industries including medical supplies and entertainment. Since joining The Heiden Group, Mr. Shea has developed many positive relationships with a variety of companies in the Los Angeles market, where he has resided for the past seven years.

Moving from Washington DC to Los Angeles in 1999, Mr. Shea got a first hand look at virtually every phase of the entertainment business including development, production, casting, editing, marketing and publicity, at major production companies including the Walt Disney Company, Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Miramax, Hollywood Records, Paramount Pictures, MTV Films, NBC–Universal, Alliance Atlantis, and Sony-Columbia-Tri-Star.  

In addition, Mr. Shea co-founded a boutique film production firm that focused on emerging digital technology and streaming content rich media online. As a film director, Mr. Shea has managed crews of forty or more people on the production of several award winning films that have screened at prestigious film festivals around the world.  He understands the technical, financial, and creative challenges that companies face. 

Mr. Shea received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at the University of Maryland and received a professional certification in Editing and Publications at Georgetown University.
